Celebrating 5 Years of AppCoda

Today we’re celebrating our fifth year of AppCoda. The past 12 months have been one of the big years for our team. We published a new edition of Swift books, organized several in-person Swift workshops, and ran a series of developer meetups in Taiwan. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank for your continued support. Without you, we won’t make this far.

When I started AppCoda five years ago, it was just a side project. I love blogging and programming. And I love to share what I know with people who are passionate about learning app development. This was the reason why I started AppCoda. The last 5 years were an unbelievable journey. This side project allowed me to quit my job, and work on something I truly love full time.

As a business, AppCoda needs to make money to survive. We rely on our premium learning materials like ebooks to keep this business running. But one thing will never change: we will keep most of the programming tutorials for free. We want to empower more people to turn their ideas into real applications by helping them learn to code. Thanks again for being an AppCoda reader, especially those who have purchased our products. It’s you that make our business possible.
